This month we lift up and celebrate the great work of Women’s Global Connection in living Laudato Si. Women’s Global Connection is a ministry of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word started by Sr. Dot Ettling and Sr. Neomi Hayes in 2001 to promote the learning and leadership capacity of women locally and globally.

Women’s Global Connection Surveys the Situation in Tanzania following the earthquake
WGC’s partners in Bukoba, Tanzania, continue to survey the extreme damage to their homes after an earthquake hit a few days ago. The effects of the tragedy were even more severe and widespread than we previously believed, although we are so grateful that members of the Bukoba Women’s Empowerment Association (BUWEA) and their families were not injured.
