Friends, as every July 30, we join the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons (United Nations initiative), because “we affirm the dignity and rights of all people and denounce human trafficking and the economic and social systems that promote it.” (CCVI Corporate Stance, 2015).
WGC was honored to have been selected again to present during a parallel event at the Commission for the Status of Women (CSW) Conference this month in New York City. The CSW, headquartered at the United Nations, designated as its 2018 theme the challenges and opportunities in achieving gender equality and empowerment of rural women and girls.
