Unexpected Crisis Invites Generosity and Restores Hope
During the month of April, Peru experienced one of the most destructive floods in its history. More than 100 people were killed and over 1,000 were wounded. It is estimated that close to 700,000 families lost their homes.

Cross-Cultural Learning
The community service and cross-cultural trainings in Chimbote we’ve participated in have been fulfilling in friendship. That’s one of the things we notice about this kind of trip – it’s relational, especially since WGC and the Incarnate Word sisters have had such a long presence here.
