“He came down with them and stood on a level place. Then he looked up at his disciples and said: ‘Blessed are you who are poor ….'” (Luke 6: 17, 20-23).
The Beatitudes are commonly referred to as “Jesus’ Ten Commandments.” The Beatitudes are Jesus’ outline for one who is a follower of his way.
