The road to the Chapter has started with:

The Committee in charge of Planning our 2022 General Chapter had a hybrid meeting. The following Sister participated: Dorothy Batto, Adriana Calzada, Emilia Gracia, Maricruz Iñiguez, Chris Stavinoha, Luz Cardona as the GLT Liaison and y Luz María Rangel as secretary. The two facilitators were Hilda Mateo MGSpS and María Elena Martínez OSF. Most of the participants attended in person and one Sister attended virtually. The meeting was at the Omega Center Retreat in Boerne, Texas, from July 6 to July 11, 2021.
In an environment of silence, listening, observation, reflection, and prayer, they shared their dreams and hopes for the Celebration of the CCVI General Chapter in 2022. They experienced the U Theory as a life path, accepting the invitation to go deeper and deeper in contemplation that would allow them to let the action of the Spirit lead them forward.

It was a very enriching experience where the participants acquired more knowledge and became more integrated as a team and as a group of Sisters who intend to give us an impulse, as a Congregation, to the threshold of the future for the next four years. They will help us to join them and to listen to God’s calling along with them.

As a Congregation that is moving toward the General Chapter, all of us, as the CCVI Family, have a commitment to participate in various ways in the processes of Congregational Life.
