On August 26th, the community from Instituto Hispano Inglés CCVI celebrated mass for the opening of the Jubilee Year in San Luis Potosí, Mexico.

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.

With great joy, on August 26, at 8:15, in the school yard, we celebrated the Mass for the opening of the 80th anniversary of our school, Instituto Hispano Inglés.

The School Community, our Sisters, the staff, our students, their parents and our former students participated in the Mass and together we thanked God for their fidelity to the CCVI mission in San Luis Potosí.

We have many testimonies of the families that have been reached by the merciful love of the Incarnate Word during all these years, and a sign of the light that has reached our life, the Mass started with a procession of candles that made a representation of the years that mark this jubilee: 1937 – 2017.

In addition to our gratitude for the years that have gone by, we move forward with hope and with a commitment with the history that we shall write day by day in the future. May the Lord give us the wisdom and the tools we need to fulfill our mission.
