On this path of reconciliation that we have proposed for this Lent, the Gospel of the first Sunday presents us with Jesus in the desert. Jesus, pushed by the Spirit, retires to the place of silence. The desert is a place where he meets Satan, but in the same way it is a place where from his inner being, in his encounter with God, he finds the strength to overcome temptation. On this journey through the desert, let us discover the vital need to enter into the depth of our heart from where we are moved to the encounter. And from this encounter, let us accept the invitation to conversion and transformation of our relationships: a process of reconciliation.
