First and foremost, we hope this note finds you blessed and healthy during these unprecedented times.  We also thank you for your previous support of the Sisters of Charity through the “Big Give” Program here in San Antonio, which allows us to continue our mission on a daily basis.

For over 150 years, the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio have been carrying out their mission of serving the most vulnerable in the areas of Healthcare, Education, Immigration and Social Justice, while living a life for God.  Unfortunately like most congregations, recent years have seen a large number of sisters serving in our ministries decrease, while the number in retirement has increased significantly.

Caring for our elderly members is a priority for us, and understandably placed a financial burden on the congregation’s resources.  As a dedicated friend of the congregation, we invite you to make a gift to our Sisters Retirement Fund.  This fund will allow us to provide quality and adequate resources to all of our sisters during their retirement years, while also ensuring the continuance of our mission.
