Testimonials
Hear from our Sisters
Why did you say YES to becoming a Sister of Charity of the Incarnate Word?
My "YES" as I consider, started- L O N G ago. "I Call it an Invitation in Progress." My "CALL" has been a long journey - of events that God led me gradually but surely- But the best of it ALL GOD was in the mix!
S. Consuelo Urrutia
I simply wanted to be a nun. This Congregation was so much a part of my life and as the years went by and I aged, I realized more and more why this congregation was so important to me.
S. Margaret Rose Palmer
Already in first grade, I wanted to consecrate my whole self to God and God’s concerns with the same zest and zeal that I saw in the Sister of Charity of the Incarnate Word who taught in my rural elementary school.
S. Dorothy Batto
: In the 1960s, God called me through two friends who entered the convent and the Sisters I met at school. They were joyful, and I wanted to discover the source of that joy.
S. Margaret Bonnot
I was a student at Instituto Miguel Angel in Mexico City, I met the Sisters who were teaching there, and developed a relationship with them. I knew from that point I wanted to be a part of the Congregation.
S. Luz Romay
When I heard Jesus' call to follow Him, I sought the support of a Priest to know what to do and discover where I could serve Him.
S. Delfina Maria Moreno
My parish priest knew the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word who worked at Instituto America in Chihuahua. He was promoting the religious life, I asked him I wanted to become a sister, and he introduced me to CCVI’s I knew then I wanted to be a part of this family.
